Touch-up

Hello Beauties!
So many events coming up? Don’t know what to pack in ur clutch in order to touch up your makeup?
Many bring too much and others not enough. Here’s a little tip on what you should need.

Foundation powder or a translucent powder. The whole point of bringing this along is throughout the night we often get oily in the T-Zone. So with a fluffy powder brush lightly powder the oily areas of your face in order to keep looking flawless especially if taking pictures (you don’t want to look like a disco ball :P ).
Oil absorbing sheets or not…. If you have an excessive case of oil throughout the night you can always bring along oil absorbing sheets or if you don’t want to drag all that stuff with you. Take a sheet of toilet paper, seperate the layers, take one layer and dab the oil away then touch up with powder.
Lipstick, liner and or lipgloss. You eat, drink, talk, wipe… your lipstick slightly wears off. Always looks better with a fresh coat of colour rather than a washed off pigment on ;)

This is optional:
If you used a Kohl or regular pencil liner, normally those tend to leak, bringing it along won’t hurt.

Why not bring mascara. Often I see ladies touching up their mascara in the powder room, unless you forgot to put before you left your home, you don’t need to touch up it’ll only make it clumpier and spider looking and its no longer flattering.

Have a nice weekend and enjoy your night out… or day out, which ever :P

Hello Beauties!
It’s been a while since I haven’t done a basic daily face routine. Since the weather is getting hotter, slowly but surely, it will be changing soon. But for now here is what I use:

Primer: Raffael Cosmetics HD Primer. Smooth canvas and helps hold my makeup intact all day.
Foundation: Mac mineralize Moisture foundation in NC20.

Bronzer: Mac mineralize skin finish in Medium/Dark.
Mascara: Korres in Obsidian black (volumizing mascara and so far my favorite).
Eye brows: Raffael Cosmetics in Golden brown #6 with a thin angled brush.

That’s it!! :) <3

For those of you who follow my wedding plans and would like a small update: since it’s still (almost) a year away and I have  already booked the important things, I’m kind of on a stand by (cause its still early) in order to  finalize details and book the rest of the vendors. For now I’m planning a small, cozy engagement party for September. So I’m concentrating on that for now. ;)
(I may not talk about her everyday, I may not talk about it very often either but I think of her literally every DAY. Ever single moment that passes I miss her even more. She’s always in my heart and I love her!! To my number one fan, as usual! <3 )

Neutralz

Hello Beauties!

I’d like to share with you my favorite eye shadows, I created my own neutral palette from my Raffael cosmetics eye shadows. YES! They’re all from Raffael Cosmetics. I love them because they have a velvety texture, very pigmented and smooth consistency. I never had issue with applying layers of color to create dark effects and never had that chalky finish like some other brands do.
So here are MY favorite neutrals that I carry all the time with me.

photo (2)

Starting from 1st top left going down:
#475 : matte peachy perfect for base or blending for light to medium skin tones.
#80: matte light brown with a HINT of  yellow undertone, good for medium base or blending.
#519: (called Perfection for a reason and my personal favorite) very shimmery medium beige with a pink undertone. Very nice as a base or for inner corner.

Top 2nd, going down again:
#255: matte brown, peach undertone. Good for a neutral smokey in the outer corner or for blending in the crease for medium to dark skin tones.
#403: satin finish, light beige with a pink undertone to it. Great color for a base or inner corner even for highlighting  the brow bone.
#50: highlighter slightly satin, very neutral. Ideally for light to medium skin tones.

3rd row going down:
#419: matte brown, peach undertone. Great for light to medium skin tones for either blending the crease or as a medium base color.
#417: matte brown-pink. Medium base or a lighter smokey effect in the outer corner.
#133-A: matte charcoal-brown, pink undertone. Perfect for a neutral smokey in the outer corner.

4rth row, going down:
#466: matte medium brown with a hint of purple, goes well with hazel eyes. Great for the outer corner.
#121: matte charcoal. Perfect medium base for a dark smokey eye.
#489: shimmery cranberry, nice base for green and blue eyes even brown.

5th rown going down:
#49: matte, medium cranberry perfect to blend or as a base. Compliments green and hazel eyes and gives a different smokey eye effect that makes it much more interesting than just brown.
#494: matte golden brown. I usually fill in brows with this color for dark blond hair. Good for blending and as a medium base color.
#108: matte, dark brown with a purple hint to it. Great to fill in eye brows for red heads and makes a fun neutral smokey eye when used in the outer corner.

Last 2 on the right:
#464: perfect matte pure black, so pigmented don’t need much color build-up  to get that perfect result.
#85: matte light highlighter for light to medium skin tones. Perfect for under the brow and the inner corner

This is my idea of best neutrals from all the colors I’ve worked with. I don’t only work with Raffael cosmetics but the colors are just great. I love these eye shadows.
Not only is the quality amazing, they’re from Canada and they’re very affordable.
To purchase either shop online at: raffaelcosmetics.com or contact me by email if you’re in the area.

**All these products were purchased with my own money and I did not get paid to write this review. This is purely my opinion and more than glad to share it with you.

Summer lips

Famous summer lipstick swatches!

I always show you ladies my Raffael lipsticks because that’s the only brand of lipstick I wear. They’re creamy, long lasting, pigmented, they don’t dry up and I can finish my latte and there’s still color on my lips, c’mon that’s AMAZING :P … I posted a review on raffael lipsticks if you need more details go read it.

Here are the swatches of summer hits:
The only one that is missing is Bambi #87 (i forgot it at my sisters house :P )

photo (2)

Peony is a pink coral bright color, completely matte. Perfect with a winged liner and barely need to touch up because of the pigment.

Pretty smart is an almost red-pinky matte but has shine (not shimmer) but leaves a luscious look. This too paired with a winged liner or a very light smudged liner with lots of mascara, would look great.

Bibi is a light orange with an ever so slight shimmer leaving lips cool and silky looking for a summer “wet”  look. A natural smokey eye would look amazing with this lip color.

Pussycat is a completely matte, nude with a orange undertone. Great with a dark smokey eye either black, green, brown, purple… anything!

Dewy is the perfect shiny (again, not shimmery) luscious nude with a pinky-purple undertone as compared to pussycat. Great for any look, nude look, smokey, winged liner…

Hope you all find your perfect summer shades. Oh and don’t be afraid to test different colors sometimes a lipstick can change your entire look ;)

Teen makeup bag

Hello Girlies!
This weekend I’m giving a makeup class to a birthday party for teens and it inspired me to make a post for you girls! Most young teens are still very new at the whole makeup thing and don’t know what is age-appropriate in their daily makeup bag. So here we go:
note this is only a  suggestion. You don’t NEED all this

For base, using foundation might not be necessary since its very heavy and cakey. A better product choice would be a good tinted moisturizer or a BB cream would be sufficient. (see my tinted moisturizer post)
To seal the tinted moisturizer, a translucent powder will do wonders and absorb any oil residue without piling up color.
Concealer ONLY to cover blemishes when necessary and it should be the exact same color of your skin tone.
For eyes, a brown or black mascara to define eyes.
Last but not least a lipgloss that’s one tone darker than your natural lip color. If you’re not sure stick to a light pink, you can never go wrong! ;)

To apply your base use disposable sponges and change them regularly or use clean dry fingers. Make sure you toss your used sponge and have clean hands cause you don’t want to spread bacteria on your face. That can cause blemishes and black heads.

You don’t have to have all of these products, you might have less or you might put more but this to me is more than enough. Don’t forget you’re a teen and you’re all beautiful the way you are! Makeup does NOT make someone more beautiful. Everyone has beautiful features and each in your own way. It’s all about learning to love yourself the way you are <3

**Also NEVER share any cream products, mascara, eye liner or anything that goes to your eyes. It contains a lot of bacteria you can get infections by doing so. Please avoid sharing, it’s for your own good!! :)

Subscribe to my blog and don’t miss a thing! :)

Thanks girlies xox

Summer Makeup Favs

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the summer is approaching very quickly, I’m so excited! Colors are coming out!

Here are some of my makeup favorites for the upcoming summer:
Lipstick by Raffael Cosmetics in Bambi #87
Beautiful bright pink/peachy, no shimmer!
(My sis is wearing Bambi in the picture below)
photo454

Lipliner from Raffael Cosmetics in Sweet. Cute pink very nude, can wear it alone or under any pinks and nudes.

FAVORITE eye shadow! Again from Raffael Cosmetics Perfection #519 (the name says it all) it’s a PERFECT shimmery base for a nice smokey or highlight. It’s like a nude with silver and gold shimmer. Goes with anything!!

And last but not least the new HD liquid foundation from Raffael Cosmetics. A perfect flawless coverage, easily applied with fingers to warm up product, does not cake on the skin. Leaves a flawless satin finish!

Enjoy the weather xox

And BTW, the glymm box this month was sooo disappointing in so many ways I did not bother posting also I am cancelling my subscription for certain personal reasons. I’m sorry for those who enjoyed those posts!

(Note: I was not paid to write about or promote this company, it’s really my own opinion and products were all purchased with my own money)

OOTD – Casual-Nice

Finally convinced my sister to give fashion tips yayyy!!!
This is my older sister Maria. She’s good with Fashion tips and hair. She has a crazy eye for design and you guys should see how she can turn a boring outfit to oooooh lala! Look! And she can make an old shirt look amazingly new or stylish with just the right accessories or the way it’s worn … Here’s a fun look:

picture444
Here she’s wearing her brown Nine West booties that have a chunky heal, round in the front and it ties in the middle. These are perfect for any look.
Shiny Black pants from Dynamite. Its a black Denim that has a leather-like finish (please wash these by hand or else the shine will come off)
She’s wearing a taupe with some thin brown thread sweater-like shirt, very comfy and simple. It’s from Winners
Topped it with a cool leather jacket with a 3/4 sleeve and the colar has folds that gives it an edge. She got this from Dynamite.
Her necklace is a leather string with gold triangles that gives it kinda like spike look, wich made her outfit look slighty rocker-ish. This was from Forever 21.
The hair was the perfect combo to this look,  a messy side braid slightly undone and yes! Its her natural hair, no extensions!
Since she wore this at work, she kept her makeup very light and natural.
But if you want to go out with this kind of look, you can either do a green or black smokey eye or if you prefer the attention on your lips and good winged eyeliner and fire red lips would be perfect!
Hope you enjoyed this and comment below if you think she should show more of her looks.

Note: All these clothes were purchased in our area so you might not necessarily have these stores near you. Montreal in Canada!
