OPINION NEEDED:
A while ago, I was subscribed to a couple of beauty boxes, some failed in the business but I started researching again. So I subscribed to Topbox for now. I pay 13.80$/month.
Got my first box last week. Do you guys want me to do “Box reveals” or Reviews on the products.
Let me know
Hello Beauties!
It’s been a while since I haven’t done a basic daily face routine. Since the weather is getting hotter, slowly but surely, it will be changing soon. But for now here is what I use:
Primer: Raffael Cosmetics HD Primer. Smooth canvas and helps hold my makeup intact all day.
Foundation: Mac mineralize Moisture foundation in NC20.
Powder: Raffael Cosmetics Duo powder in C35.
Blush: Raffael Cosmetics #293 mellow with a touch of #329 bare skin.
Bronzer: Mac mineralize skin finish in Medium/Dark.
Mascara: Korres in Obsidian black (volumizing mascara and so far my favorite).
Eye brows: Raffael Cosmetics in Golden brown #6 with a thin angled brush.
Lips: For a nude look Raffael cosmetics: #399 Pussycat or for a touch of color: #448 Love lust hi gloss.
That’s it!! 🙂 ❤

For those of you who follow my wedding plans and would like a small update: since it’s still (almost) a year away and I have already booked the important things, I’m kind of on a stand by (cause its still early) in order to finalize details and book the rest of the vendors. For now I’m planning a small, cozy engagement party for September. So I’m concentrating on that for now. 😉
(I may not talk about her everyday, I may not talk about it very often either but I think of her literally every DAY. Ever single moment that passes I miss her even more. She’s always in my heart and I love her!! To my number one fan, as usual! ❤ )
Famous summer lipstick swatches!
I always show you ladies my Raffael lipsticks because that’s the only brand of lipstick I wear. They’re creamy, long lasting, pigmented, they don’t dry up and I can finish my latte and there’s still color on my lips, c’mon that’s AMAZING :P… I posted a review on raffael lipsticks if you need more details go read it.
Here are the swatches of summer hits:
The only one that is missing is Bambi #87 (i forgot it at my sisters house 😛 )
Peony is a pink coral bright color, completely matte. Perfect with a winged liner and barely need to touch up because of the pigment.
Pretty smart is an almost red-pinky matte but has shine (not shimmer) but leaves a luscious look. This too paired with a winged liner or a very light smudged liner with lots of mascara, would look great.
Bibi is a light orange with an ever so slight shimmer leaving lips cool and silky looking for a summer “wet” look. A natural smokey eye would look amazing with this lip color.
Pussycat is a completely matte, nude with a orange undertone. Great with a dark smokey eye either black, green, brown, purple… anything!
Dewy is the perfect shiny (again, not shimmery) luscious nude with a pinky-purple undertone as compared to pussycat. Great for any look, nude look, smokey, winged liner…
Hope you all find your perfect summer shades. Oh and don’t be afraid to test different colors sometimes a lipstick can change your entire look 😉

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the summer is approaching very quickly, I’m so excited! Colors are coming out!
Here are some of my makeup favorites for the upcoming summer:
Lipstick by Raffael Cosmetics in Bambi #87
Beautiful bright pink/peachy, no shimmer!
(My sis is wearing Bambi in the picture below)

Lipliner from Raffael Cosmetics in Sweet. Cute pink very nude, can wear it alone or under any pinks and nudes.
FAVORITE eye shadow! Again from Raffael Cosmetics Perfection #519 (the name says it all) it’s a PERFECT shimmery base for a nice smokey or highlight. It’s like a nude with silver and gold shimmer. Goes with anything!!
And last but not least the new HD liquid foundation from Raffael Cosmetics. A perfect flawless coverage, easily applied with fingers to warm up product, does not cake on the skin. Leaves a flawless satin finish!
Enjoy the weather xox
And BTW, the glymm box this month was sooo disappointing in so many ways I did not bother posting also I am cancelling my subscription for certain personal reasons. I’m sorry for those who enjoyed those posts!
(Note: I was not paid to write about or promote this company, it’s really my own opinion and products were all purchased with my own money)
Finally convinced my sister to give fashion tips yayyy!!!
This is my older sister Maria. She’s good with Fashion tips and hair. She has a crazy eye for design and you guys should see how she can turn a boring outfit to oooooh lala! Look! And she can make an old shirt look amazingly new or stylish with just the right accessories or the way it’s worn … Here’s a fun look:

Here she’s wearing her brown Nine West booties that have a chunky heal, round in the front and it ties in the middle. These are perfect for any look.
Shiny Black pants from Dynamite. Its a black Denim that has a leather-like finish (please wash these by hand or else the shine will come off)
She’s wearing a taupe with some thin brown thread sweater-like shirt, very comfy and simple. It’s from Winners
Topped it with a cool leather jacket with a 3/4 sleeve and the colar has folds that gives it an edge. She got this from Dynamite.
Her necklace is a leather string with gold triangles that gives it kinda like spike look, wich made her outfit look slighty rocker-ish. This was from Forever 21.
The hair was the perfect combo to this look, a messy side braid slightly undone and yes! Its her natural hair, no extensions!
Since she wore this at work, she kept her makeup very light and natural.
But if you want to go out with this kind of look, you can either do a green or black smokey eye or if you prefer the attention on your lips and good winged eyeliner and fire red lips would be perfect!
Hope you enjoyed this and comment below if you think she should show more of her looks.
Note: All these clothes were purchased in our area so you might not necessarily have these stores near you. Montreal in Canada!
Hello Beauties!!!
I had said I was gonna let you know what products struck me as good ones from my beauty boxes. I have extremely dry skin but not any cream works for me. If the content of the cream is too rich my skin does not absorb it and some just simply don’t get rid of the flaky dry desert on my face hahaha!!

Since I have a lot of products that I tried, I’m really putting the only ones that really stood out to me the most.
This one I actually purchased:
Benta Berry La Creme G-1: I had 2 different types of this brand of moisturizer and used both mostly to mix my foundation to make a daily tinted moisturizer. This Benta Berry is a water based moisturizer therefore did not decompose my foundation when mixing it on my hand. My regular foundation is a water base as well. If you mix oil base with water you’ll see the foundation decompose and doesn’t have great results. It’s a non comedogenic which means does not contain harsh chemicals that block pores and good for acne prone or sensitive skin.
Cyber Derm H2O Hydration and every morning: In general I love this brand and once again I got a few different samples of this brand. I loved all of them. I actually saw a difference in my skin. I used this for daily moisturizer, flakes and harsh dry skin was gone. All that was left was a clean and glowy skin. I even tried the night anti-age cream and really felt fresh and moisturized. I will probably be purchasing some of these creams in the near future. I still have some left as samples because I fluctuate moisturizers for different results. So all of these can be part of my top 5.
360 Skincare Lavender mint firming serum: It didn’t DRAMATICALLY remove all wrinkles and fine lines around the eye area but the smell is soo soothing and it’s rich without being too rich. My skin fully absorbs the product even if I leave a thick layer under my eyes. I put this before I go to bed and find myself looking more rested than usual. It’s cruelty free, has a lot of natural ingredients and it really smells good.
Last but not least…
Villainess Dulces en fuego: OMGoodnes!! I LOVE the smelllllll, I can actually be obsessed with this body cream. I dont find its the BEST moisturizing body cream in the world but the smellllllllll……… Its like a sweet cinnamon yummy smell. I can just put this on my hands all day long and never get sick of the smell. I was even putting this on my nose so I can just smell this. YES it was that good 😛 I didn’t buy the full size yet but I will very soon.
That’s it for now. There’s other products that I really enjoyed and worked but these so far are the ones that stood out the most like I said.
See you soon!!!
Side note: My sister is really good with fashion tips and accessorizing and putting outfits together (and not spending big bucks to look like a million bucks). I’m trying to convince her to start posting on my blog and putting up pictures and maybe making videos. She’s just shy but together we make a great team, “like” or comment on this post to support her to do it with me!! Yayyyyy, Thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Beauties!!!
I said I was going to post my wedding planning but I won’t be giving out locations or anything like that. It will be more like how I manage my things. So here we goooooooo!
We’ve been going out now for 2 years and 3 months, he proposed on our 2nd year anniversary. So later on that night, we took the time to call most of our close family members and good friends to announce the good news over the phone.
NOTE: Important people shouldn’t find out through social media, it’s really not classy.
We hadn’t discussed details that night, we actually took the time to enjoy our happiest moment ever and our evening out!!
The only thing we discussed was approximately when and in how long we wanted the big day to occur. We decided we wanted to wait a year and a half for certain reasons. So all we had decided that night was probably around Spring-Summer 2014.
That very same week we got engaged we started getting down to business right away :P. We told ourselves the more time and the faster we start planning, the less we’ll stress and be more in control of the planning, the ideas and the budget. We decided to do it in May 2014 and we made a budget (AND STICK TO IT). We even started our registry and told everyone for our next birthday gifts, christmas gifts or any other occassion that we’d prefer getting things for our house instead of random things 😉
The way we thought of planning things would be setting priorities so from the most important to the less urgent thing to book or decide on. According to our generation and the way couples are in our area; everyone books in advance when I say in advance I mean 8-14 months ahead for the reception at least. It’s important to book the reception early because they book really quickly. So we started to research which halls interest us.
Our main priorities (the 3 most important) to book were: Ceremony, reception (food included) and entertainment! 😀 So we researched all halls that interest us and what they were offering for our budget and we end up choosing the one that suited our needs the most. We also booked the Dj and our Church.
Our next step (we’re at this stage now) is researching photographer and videographer and start thinking of ideas for flowers, transportation, decor options…
The important thing is to have lots of visual ideas, print and save ALL your ideas. Email yourself if you have to, take notes and keep everything because it doesn’t take much to forget, lose or even misunderstand information between suppliers. Keep everything in one place so you know where to go for the information you need.
That’s it for now. I’ll be giving a little update in a few months!! Happy Planning xox

Hello beauties,
So when I first started blogging I was posting all my beauty boxes. Then I didn’t feel like being annoying so i stopped showing what I was receiving. I was subscribed to 3 boxes: Glymm box, Glossy Box and Top box.
There is big difference in not only prices but also in the type of products.
Glossy box: was initially 15$ canadian shipping incl and it had a variety of drugstore products. This box had mainly full size products but in my opinion this was quantity over quality. Then the price went up to 21$ canadian and they added a small magazine with details on the products. I liked this box and the concept, i also liked the fact that I was getting a nice reusable box.
Glymm box: It was 11.50$ with shipping and although the samples were a lot smaller and fewer, the quality of the products were much more higher end. I would say this box is Quality over quantity. It is now 15$ per box and they send the products in a nice reusable makeup bag.
Top box: I wasn’t subscribed long enough to entirely compare with the others but the 2 first boxes didn’t fully impress me, there was a lot of hair products, makeup and rebate cards to products that were higher end. The samples were small and was barely able to really TEST the product. I believe it was 12$ every month and it came in a recycled cylinder box which to me was not useful or reusable in any way.
Now the winner for MY needs and expectations is Glymm. Don’t get me wrong it was an extremely tough choice cause they were all different in their own way. But MY goal was to try to find new and quality products. I wanted samples of products that I wouldn’t just randomly spend at a drugstore but wouldn’t chance buying expensive creams that I didn’t know the end results and waste my money. I also liked the fact that it came with a makeup bag. Sure they weren’t FULL size products but it was enough to make me try and see a difference. I had a tough choice between Glossy and Glymm cause they each had their own pros and cons. For me in the end it was quality over quantity and that’s why I chose Glymm. (also the products are always all available online and easy to shop from the site).
So I will be posting what I get in my Glymm boxes from now on.
Don’t think this was an easy choice for me, if i could’ve I would’ve kept all my subscribtions but unfortunately I didn’t feel the need.
Looking forward to sharing the glymm products.
Note: this is MY choice, MY opinion and may not be the same for your expectations and needs.
